Basketball Recap: Laurel Comes Up Short

Laurel was the 68-63 winner over DuPont when they last played one another back in March of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 84-77 to the Tigers on Saturday.

Laurel's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for DuPont, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laurel will welcome Sussex Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for DuPont, they will take on Wilmington Charter at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
