On Wednesday CJ Carruthers pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. The performance marked the fewest hits Carruthers has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than one walk. On the season, he has an ERA of 3.68 over 19 innings pitched.
