Gilbert won the last time they faced Irmo and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians blew past the Yellow Jackets 14-1. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.

Gilbert pushed their record up to 21-3-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Irmo, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Coming up, Gilbert will face off against Heathwood Hall Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Highlanders have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. Irmo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
