Basketball Recap: Kalida's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Kalida and Archbold, and Archbold kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats took a 46-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Streaks on Saturday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Streaks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Kalida's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2. As for Archbold, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Kalida will square off against Van Wert at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Archbold, they will challenge Ayersville at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
