Softball Recap: Covington Chargers vs. Ripley Tigers

Covington took a 12-run defeat the last time they faced off against Ripley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Chargers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tigers 6-4. While the Chargers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-27), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Bella Crook made a big impact while hitting and pitching.
