Softball Recap: Greenville Yellow Jackets vs. Tri County Area Vikings

Greenville won the last time they faced Tri County Area and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Yellow Jackets put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 19-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellow Jackets.

Cam Klco made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. Klco was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases.

In other batting news, Drew Galey was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those stolen bases were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alexa Hyler, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Greenville hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters every time they've taken the field this season.
