Baseball Recap: Danbury's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Danbury). They never let the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats get on the board and left with a 25-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 11 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Danbury's ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Hull-Daisetta, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Danbury is set to take on their familiar foe Leggett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hull-Daisetta will face off against rival Deweyville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
