Volleyball Game Preview: Bexley Lions vs. Bishop Hartley Hawks

Bexley hasn't had much luck against Bishop Hartley recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.

Bishop Hartley will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Bexley extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Centennial.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-8, 25-15.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bishop Hartley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Beechcroft 3-0 on Thursday.

Bishop Hartley's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Bexley, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.

Bexley might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Bishop Hartley when the teams last played back in August of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
