Lansing hadn't done well against Seaman recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lions' pitchers stepped up to hand the Vikings a 6-0 shutout. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Lansing's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Seaman, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3.
