Saucon Valley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Jim Thorpe Olympians a 9-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Elliot Policare as she scored three goals for her team.

Saucon Valley's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Jim Thorpe, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.
