Basketball Recap: Tussey Mountain's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Tussey Mountain's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs by a score of 47-35. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Tussey Mountain's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tussey Mountain and Williamsburg will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Claysburg-Kimmel and Tyrone will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Tyrone will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Claysburg-Kimmel surely won't give up without a fight.
