Lake Ridge won the last time they faced Boswell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Lake Ridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-15, 25-11, 25-20.

Dawn Moore paced Lake Ridge's offense, picking up 15 kills. Moore got some help from Zoe Patteson and her 23 assists. Patteson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Lake Ridge's win bumped their record up to 26-11. As for Boswell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-19 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lake Ridge will take on rival Crowley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Boswell is set to square off against their familiar foe Mansfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
