Soccer Recap: San Marino Comes Up Short

San Marino lost against Monrovia back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The San Marino Titans lost 3-0 to the Monrovia Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 896th, while the Wildcats are ranked 226th).

San Marino is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3-2. As for Monrovia, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1-3.

San Marino has already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Temple City on the 17th. As for Monrovia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-2 draw against South Pasadena on the 17th.
