Baseball Game Preview: Lee Ganders vs. Shepherd Pirates

Lee will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against South Houston on Friday. Lee blew past South Houston 12-2. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Ganders' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shepherd). Everything went their way against South Houston on Friday as Shepherd made off with a 12-6 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Pirates considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Lee's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Shepherd, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
