Softball Recap: Bishop Guilfoyle Takes a Loss

Bishop Guilfoyle fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Central on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 5-4. The Marauders have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Bishop Guilfoyle's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Central, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bishop Guilfoyle will face off against rival Penn Cambria at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Greater Johnstown at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
