Baseball Recap: Old Forge Takes a Loss

Old Forge came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-0 to the Dunmore Bucks. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Bucks: they've now lost three in a row.

Old Forge's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Dunmore, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Old Forge will challenge Montrose at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Meteors have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Dunmore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Western Wayne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
