Volleyball Recap: West Potomac Comes Up Short

West Potomac had taken Fairfax down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Wolverines fell 3-1 to the Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

West Potomac has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-1 record this season. As for Fairfax, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. West Potomac is set to challenge their familiar foe Alexandria City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fairfax will take on rival Robinson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
