Football Game Preview: North Side Gators vs. Charleston Tigers + How To Watch

The North Side Gators will head out to challenge the Charleston Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

North Side's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Leland 46-0. The Gators' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Charleston took on J.Z. George on Friday. The Tigers claimed a resounding 42-12 win over the Jaguars. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

North Side better keep an eye on Marcus Flowers Jr. He was instrumental in Charleston's win, rushing for 169 yards and three scores on only ten carries. Flowers Jr is becoming a predictor of the Tigers' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Quentin Carter also helped out with an impressive 91 receiving yards.

North Side's record is now 7-0. As for Charleston, their record now sits at 4-2.

North Side came up short against Charleston when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 22-14. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Flowers Jr, who rushed for 206 yards and a pair of TDs.
