Baseball Recap: Delta Charter Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ferriday on Friday, Delta Charter came back down to earth. The Delta Charter Storm lost 13-2 to the Harrisonburg Bulldogs on Saturday. The Storm were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Delta Charter now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Harrisonburg, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Delta Charter will head out on the road to take on Family Community Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Delta Charter has given up an average of 8.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Harrisonburg, they will welcome Rayville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
