Clinton hadn't done well against Warrensburg recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 23-25, 25-18, 25-11.

Audrey McCoy paced Clinton's offense, picking up 15 kills. McCoy got some help from Brynn Manning and her 28 assists. Lily Kenney controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Despite the loss, Warrensburg still got an impressive performance from Anna Florida, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Clinton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9-4 record this season. As for Warrensburg, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-13-2.

Coming up, Clinton will square off against Oak Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warrensburg, they will take on Center at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
