League recap: Hungerford dominating on the mound for Fulton

Central Michigan's top pitcher this week was Corey Hungerford. His stat line for the week included one win and 11 Ks.

St. Patrick made the biggest jump in the standings this week, moving from sixth to fourth place in the league thanks to a 2-0 record over the past seven days. Meanwhile, Fowler fell hardest in the standings, dropping from fourth all the way to sixth place after going 0-1 in the past week. Saranac (4-0, 4-0) is the No. 1 team in the league.

Fulton's pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only 46 hits and seven walks, both of which led the league. The Pirates' pitchers have been charged with only 139 hits and have struck out 91 batters. Hungerford is tops on the staff with 34 Ks.

Fulton scored a league-best 31 runs this week, adding to its league-leading 143 runs on the season. Ryan Winkler leads the team with 21 runs scored and Ryan Winkler has a team-high 22 RBIs on the year.

Winkler led the league with 10 hits this week for Fulton. His 29 hits for the year are first in the league, and he boasts a .475 batting average.
