Softball Recap: Chardon Triumphs

Chardon proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 11) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Trinity Hillers 6-5.

The team relied heavily on Gia Sharaba, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Emma Anderson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Chardon's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Chardon will face off against Morgantown at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity, they will head out on the road to challenge Upper St. Clair at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
