Basketball Recap: Princeton Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Emmie Allison and Paisley Beddingfield

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Eastern Wayne Warriors, falling 62-39. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-42 back in January.

Despite the defeat, Princeton had strong showings from Paisley Beddingfield, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten steals, and Emmie Allison, who posted six points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Beddingfield a new career-high in steals.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Eastern Wayne, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Princeton will be playing in front of their home fans against Beddingfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Princeton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Eastern Wayne has already played their next matchup (against Spring Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
