Baseball Recap: Fenton Takes a Loss

Fenton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 14-7 to the Glenbard South Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Monday.

Fenton's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Glenbard South, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fenton will square off against South Elgin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Storm will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bison surely won't give up without a fight. As for Glenbard South, they will take on Benet Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
