Recap: Williams Bulldogs vs. Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves
The Williams Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Williams managed a 49-44 victory over Cedar Ridge on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Williams also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Williams to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sam Rhodes, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Brian Williams was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Williams' win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Cedar Ridge, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-14.
Williams will face off against Person at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Person has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 234 points over their last four matches. As for Cedar Ridge, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against East Chapel Hill at 7:00 p.m.
