Basketball Recap: Louisiana Math Science & Arts Comes Up Short

Louisiana Math Science & Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics Storm, falling 56-21. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-35 back in November of 2024.

Nehemiah Hackman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics, going 10 for 19 en route to 20 points and seven steals. Hackman has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 13 times he's played. Mason Quartemont was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds.

Louisiana Math Science & Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-7.

Louisiana Math Science & Arts will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cornerstone Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 27th. Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
