Basketball Recap: Scott Comes Up Short

If Scott was feeling good fresh off their 62-41 takedown of Midland Trail last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Scott Skyhawks took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Logan Wildcats on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Skyhawks in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the defeat, Scott saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Colin Williamson posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Walls, who earned six points.

Scott now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Logan, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Scott wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-43 victory against Poca on the 1st. As for Logan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-52 win against Buffalo on the 1st.
