Soccer Game Preview: Alpharetta vs. North Forsyth

Alpharetta will square off against North Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alpharetta's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Alpharetta turned things around against Sprayberry last Thursday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Raiders who were credited with the win. Alpharetta got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Sprayberry's four.

North Forsyth is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They lost 6-0 to Lambert. While losing is never fun, North Forsyth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Lambert are ranked fourth).

Alpharetta picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-11. As for North Forsyth, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Alpharetta took their win against North Forsyth in their previous meeting back in March of 2016 by a conclusive 5-0 score. Does Alpharetta have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Forsyth turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
