Baseball Game Preview: Kennedy Knights vs. Ridgewood Maroons

The Kennedy Knights will head out to square off against the Ridgewood Maroons at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Kennedy lost 9-1 to Clifton on Wednesday.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Ridgewood and Ramapo, and Ramapo kept the tradition alive. The Maroons took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Maroons in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Ridgewood now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Kennedy might still be hurting after the 12-1 loss they got from Ridgewood when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
