League recap: Mount Juliet Christian Academy bests King's Academy in blowout

Mount Juliet Christian Academy took down King's Academy 39-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

The Saints made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 14,151 from 14,325. The improvement was the result of 39-0 victory over the Lions last week.

Franklin Road Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matt Hissong has thrown for 430 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Dalton Ponchillia has 13 catches for 300 yards. Hosea Baldwin leads the league in rushing with 191 yards.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Franklin Road Academy takes on Donelson Christian Academy. The Panthers have allowed 134 points this season, while the Wildcats have given up 129. Franklin Road Academy allowed 40 points last week as it lost to Grace Christian.

Mount Juliet Christian Academy led the league in scoring this week after putting up 39 points on King's Academy.
