Volleyball Game Preview: Seckinger Jaguars vs. Clarkston Angoras

The Seckinger Jaguars will face off against the Clarkston Angoras at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Seckinger is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Seckinger is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Trinity Christian, who was ranked sixth at the time (Seckinger was ranked ninth). The Jaguars fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1 back in March.

Meanwhile, Clarkston came up short against Chattahoochee on Tuesday and fell 2-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Angoras haven't been shut out since back in March.

While Clarkston ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20.

Seckinger's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Clarkston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
