Basketball Recap: Queen City Prep Takes a Loss

Queen City Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Wesley Christian Circuit Riders, falling 79-57. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Kings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-54 two weeks ago.

Queen City Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Wesley Christian, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Queen City Prep has already played their next match (against Oak Hill Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wesley Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lab University Prep National at 3:00 p.m. on February 22nd.
