Gavin Shanahan Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 Elkhorn South was led to victory by  Gavin Shanahan, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Thursday. Shanahan rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 16 yards and a touchdown.
 The  victory for Elkhorn South keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Shanahan and Elkhorn South will head out on the road to  take on  Omaha Westside  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

A Season-Best  Performance from  Devin Meier Leads Elkhorn South over Burke
  Devin Meier produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Elkhorn South to the win  on Thursday. Meier picked up  two  sacks and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss). He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 55 yards.
 On the season,  Meier  has averaged 7.2 total tackles per game  and for the season has 4 sacks.

Cohen Skiff Puts an End to Norfolk's Losing Streak  on Friday
 Norfolk's three-game losing streak  is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to  Cohen Skiff. Skiff was dynamite on Friday, picking up a receiving yards and a touchdown.
