Volleyball Recap: Ottawa Falls Short of Dixon in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Ottawa and Dixon squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Ottawa had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Dukes & Duchesses by a score of 2-1. The Pirates have struggled against the Dukes & Duchesses recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Belle Markey paced Ottawa's offense, picking up eight kills. Markey got some help from Ashlynn Ganiere and her 14 assists.

Leading Dixon to victory were Yui Santos and Presley Lappin. Santos had 14 digs, while Lappin had 16 assists.

Ottawa's loss dropped their record down to 9-23-2. As for Dixon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-9.

Ottawa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dixon, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Sycamore on the 30th.
