Volleyball Recap: Wartburg Central Beats Oliver Springs for Their Third Straight Win

Wartburg Central had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Oliver Springs Bobcats with a sharp 3-0 win. The Bulldogs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 5, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

The victory didn't come easy: Oliver Springs scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 25-21.

Wartburg Central's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Oliver Springs, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Wartburg Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Jellico on the 28th. As for Oliver Springs, they are taking a road trip to square off against Eagleton College & Career Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
