Sand Creek has gone a perfect 5-0 against Mitchell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Scorpions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Marauders at 2:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Sand Creek lost 14-1 to Falcon on Friday. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sand Creek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avyn Walter, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Mitchell was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Elizabeth, falling 17-0.

Sand Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Mitchell, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Everything went Sand Creek's way against Mitchell in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Sand Creek made off with a 26-1 win. Will the Scorpions repeat their success, or do the Marauders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
