Softball Recap: Washington Township Minutemen vs. Kingsway Dragons

After flying high against Cumberland on Wednesday, Washington Township came back down to earth. The Minutemen lost 13-3 to the Kingsway Dragons on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in April.

Alyssa Clark made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season.

Washington Township has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Kingsway, they pushed their record up to 16-0 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.
