On the hitting side, Mashpee got a massive performance out of Michael McGrail, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. McGrail has become a key player for the Falcons: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-6 otherwise. Jason Merkman was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Mashpee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .590. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
