Volleyball Recap: 13 Straight Home Victories for Murray

Murray entered their tilt with Tooele on Thursday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Buffaloes 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

While Murray won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 25-17.

Alex Beckstead paced Murray's offense, picking up 12 kills. Beckstead got some help from Daniel Haskell and his 26 assists. Beckstead was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Murray's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Tooele, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
