Dixie County won the last time they faced Fort White and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Indians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 25-9.

Kamille Barnes paced Dixie County's offense, picking up ten kills. Barnes got some help from Riley Whitaker and her 21 assists. Maleigha 'Mia' Stalvey controlled things from the service line, finishing with 12 aces.

Dixie County's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fort White, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixie County will square off against Trenton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort White, they will welcome First Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
