Volleyball Recap: Dieterich Gets the Win

Dieterich won the last time they faced Mulberry Grove and things went their way on Monday too. The Movin Maroons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Aces. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Movin Maroons.

Dieterich had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-21, 25-13.

Dieterich's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Mulberry Grove, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Dieterich didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Brownstown/St. Elmo on the 16th. As for Mulberry Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Ramsey on the 18th.
