Baseball Recap: Orcutt Academy Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Orcutt Academy's offense. They came up short against the Morro Bay Pirates on Tuesday, falling 14-0. The Spartans just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Orcutt Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Chambers, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Orcutt Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Morro Bay, their record is now 12-4.

While Orcutt Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
