Basketball Recap: Joshua Christian Extends Winning Streak to Four

Joshua Christian had won three straight games and Addyson Archer did her part to make it four on Friday. The Joshua Christian Knights took down the Fellowship Baptist Academy Falcons 44-25 thanks in part to Archer, who went 6 for 13 en route to 16 points and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2023.

Another player making a difference was Olivia Buchanan, who posted eight points and three steals. Buchanan is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

Joshua Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Joshua Christian and Grayson Christian will face off at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Joshua Christian's defense has only allowed 28.4 points per game this season, so Grayson Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, they and Providence Academy will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Providence Academy will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Fellowship Baptist Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
