Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Needville). They put the hurt on the Brazosport Exporters with a sharp 11-1 victory on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bluejays considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Needville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Brazosport, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Needville will venture away from home to challenge Sweeny at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bluejays 2.8, the Bulldogs 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Brazosport, they will face off against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
