Volleyball Recap: South Dearborn Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

South Dearborn had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Franklin County Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20.

Kelsey Clyde paced South Dearborn's offense, picking up eight kills. Clyde got some help from Brynn Hamlett and her eight assists. Claire Elliott controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

South Dearborn's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Franklin County, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

South Dearborn has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against New Washington on the 30th. As for Franklin County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Madison on the 30th.
