            Highland has gone  a perfect 10-0 against Littlerock recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will head out to  face off against the Lobos  at 3:15  p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Highland picked up another tournament win  on Wednesday. They blew past West Salem 16-10.
 Victor Hernandez looked comfortable as he  pitched 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in six consecutive appearances.

 On the hitting side,  Nick Gonzales was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Highland's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 1-5-1 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of  Arturo Carrillo, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 Highland was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .565. The last time their  batting average was this high was  back in April of 2024.
 Meanwhile, Littlerock had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Jaguars  an   11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Lobos, who have now won seven matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Littlerock's victory was  their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 10-5. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Highland, their record now sits at 7-5-1.
 Highland was able to grind out a solid  victory over Littlerock in their previous meeting  back in March of 2024, winning  6-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
