Baseball Recap: Rockdale Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Rockdale's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to Thrall, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Rockdale's loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Rockdale's defeat dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Thrall, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5-1 record this season.

Rockdale is taking a road trip to take on Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Thrall, they will square off against Little River Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
