Fairport put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They slipped by the Bishop Timon-St. Jude Tigers 80-79.

When it comes to explaining why Bishop Timon-St. Jude lost, don't look at Nakyhi Harris. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Mike Gibson, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 15 points and eight rebounds.

Fairport's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Bishop Timon-St. Jude, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

Fairport won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Health Sciences Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
