Softball Recap: Madison County Cowboys vs. Bell Bulldogs

Madison County proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Bell Bulldogs 4-2. The Cowboys haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Alden Bass made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
