Basketball Recap: Seton Catholic Central Skates Past Waverly with Ease

Seton Catholic Central won the last time they faced Waverly and things went their way on Saturday too. The Saints claimed a resounding 80-44 victory over the Wolverines. Fans of the Saints have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Seton Catholic Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Allan Eagles, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds. Eagles is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. Malik Wimberly was another key player, going 6-for-8 on his way to 19 points.

Seton Catholic Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January.

The win (which was Seton Catholic Central's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 85.0 points this season. As for Waverly, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
